Commitment: Full-day training session on 26th Feb 2010; 3 full days of camp

No. of volunteers needed: 40

We are looking for volunteers who can help out as facilitators at the aforementioned camp in March 2011. It’s a non-stayover camp, and our target participants are primary school students (9 – 12 years old) from 18 different primary schools. Their teachers and school counsellors will be accompanying them to the camp as well.

The theme of the camp is FRIENDSHIP – although it is an educational camp in nature, we will be incorporating fun games and activities to teach children how to build positive friendships and fight bullying in school. Highlights of the camp include FRIENDSHIP Telematch, Games Carnival and more.

Roles & duties

To facilitate group activities and discussions, as well as to play the role of station masters in the FRIENDSHIP Telematch.

Volunteer Requirements:
1) Volunteers who have had experience working/interacting with children.

2) Volunteers who have a passion for educating children through fun and games.

3) Committed, responsible, energetic and fun-loving individuals, with good communication skills (proficiency in English is a must).
